This weekend we race for those who courageously battle cancer every day.
We race for those that never give up hope.
We race with survivors and celebrate their victory.
And we remember loved ones, who defied gravity with their spirit.
THIS race is for you, Lisa. I love you and miss you.

Hot Date
Maybe spring is going to come this year......
Checking for dudes.
Some lifting and separating
A shake and a fluff
Harder this time..shake that thang!
Perfection...ready for prowling.

Easter
We had a lovely Easter weekend.
Friday night we dyed eggs. I have decided this ritual is overrated. There isn't anything easy about it, nothing ever works like it supposed to, and you certainly don't end up with the fabulous masterpieces that you see on the box. The boys get frustrated because the paint runs, the stickers don't stick, and the pressure of having to push hard on the wax crayon to get it to work causes the eggs to crush in their hands. It's quite annoying, but we suffer through the process every.single.year. It is my mission in life to figure out a better way.....
Easter morning the kids awoke and followed the trail of candy (this year it was Hershey kisses) to their baskets. Then they went on a hunt. I write clues in plastic eggs and place them around the house and they hunt together to find their present from mom and dad (a hit away baseball contraption). They had a good time hunting.
We ate lunch at my mom and dad's and Mike's mom and Dave joined us, along with nephew Jake. GREAT meal! Here is a picture of me and my sisters, Lisa and Carrie.
Before the meal, we had our first ever egg hunt. It has always been too cold to hunt eggs on Easter. This year it wasn't too bad out.
We are gearing up for soccer beginning in the Budach household for both boys. We apologize in advance for the horrible, cold, and rainy weather that will undoubtedly start here in southern MN. Mother Nature finds great humor in making me sit outside in below zero temperatures with record setting winds blowing in my face for hours.
Have a great week!

Bunnies and Birth
Connor: Do bunnies lay eggs?
Noah: No.
Connor: I think they do. It's how baby bunnies are born. In eggs.
Noah: No, they are born like people.
Connor: No, bunnies lay eggs.
Noah: No they don't, Connor. They don't lay eggs. Birds lay eggs. Bunnies have what I guess you would call..... "fresh" babies.

My Friend
May The Lord bless you and keep you.
May the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you.
May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace
