Highlights

No time for a serious blog posts. Here are the highlights…

~ LOTS of baseball (28 out of 30 days in June). Games start this week!

~ End of the year craziness. I just planted a pot of flowers for Connor’s teacher’s gift. Gonna drop that off tomorrow.

~ Wedding reception for my friend, Lisa!

~ Water fights, sprinkler, water balloons

~ Florida trip planning with the family. (Mike’s mom is taking us to Florida this upcoming spring break!)

~ Chicago trip planning. It’s only a few weeks away now!  Gonna see my BFF Tammy and get together with a group of 8 girls from high school. We will all celebrate turning 40.

~ Mental health day with the kids which included MOA amusement park and Pirates of the Caribbean.

~ Flower planting. LOTS of flower planting.

~ Garden planting. This year includes green beans, spinach, basil, green peppers, and cucumbers.

~ End of the school year yearly projects……putting together a 138 piece slide show for my students. My favorite part is to put talking bubbles next to their faces using their expressions as inspiration. I crack myself up. Kids appreciate it, which is nice because it takes hours and hours to put together. Then I got out to the nature center on school property to take pictures for gifts for those leaving our school due to various reasons. I really struggle with getting nice pictures from out there anymore….it’s basically just trees and tall grasses this time of year and the one pond is completely mucked-over. I think I got a couple, but we will see.

 

 

~  Dad got a good report on his leukemia!

One more full week of work for me and then LET SUMMER BEGIN!
